12 Major Structural Damages to Truck Tires

Truck tires are an important part of vehicles, and the performance is directly related to the truck's load capacity and wear resistance. Various problems will inevitably occur during driving because of its harsh use environment. There are normal wear and tear, but there are also structural damage. (More truck spare parts replacement )
As a truck driver, these problems must be understood clearly to avoid the situation where the tires are in a state of confusion.
Many of the problems with tires have nothing to do with the quality of the tire itself, because the driver's bad driving habits or external factors cause tire damage.
Here, we can take appropriate preventive measures by analyzing the causes and types of tire wear. Prevention can be done early to avoid unnecessary losses.
To introduce you to some of the most common cases of structural damage and related analysis for reference.

1. The cut of tire ends caused the side drum to burst
Features: The steel wire of the carcass anti-wrap cord of the sub-port is cut off, which causes the radial bulging of the sidewall corresponding to this.
Reason: The spout part was cut by a sharp tool, which caused the carcass anti-cord wire of the spout part to break. Under the action of pressure, the end point of the broken carcass wire continuously stretched and flexed, causing the radial bulge of the sidewall to burst and the wire broke. .

2. Penetration of the sidewall
Features: The tire sidewall is cracked irregularly, with punctures, scratches, or obvious foreign body squeeze marks.
Cause: The side of the tire was punctured by a sharp weapon while driving, or when the twin tires were used together, there was a squeeze between the two tires.

3. Abnormal wear
Features: Irregular wear of the crown.
Reasons: The tires are not regularly replaced, the vehicle condition is poor, the directional tires are not regularly installed, and the rims are not suitable.

4. Stabbing blasting
Features: Fan-shaped blasting on the sidewall, with obvious stab wounds on the crown corresponding to the blasting.
Cause: The crown part was stabbed and the carcass cord was punctured, causing a crack in the carcass ply from inside to outside, and bursting from the crack under the action of pressure.

5. Peeling delamination
Features: Sharp objects puncture the belt steel wire of the crown, and the shoulder glue is detached from the steel belt.
Reason: Sharp objects stabbed the belt steel wire at the crown of the tire, causing water, ash, sand, etc. to infiltrate.

6. Crown burst
Features: The crown is a strong tearing blast.
Reason: The tire is driving under the condition of overload, high speed and high air pressure, and it is strongly impacted by obstacles, causing blasting.

7. Shock burst
Features: The crown is blasted, corresponding to the inner "I" shape split.
Cause: The crown is cracked due to uneven road surface or strong impact of obstacles while driving.

8. Side tire abrasions
Features: The shoulders are circumferentially abraded, and the carcass cord is visible.
Cause: The road was abraded by hard objects on the road, and the use conditions were extremely bad. The auto parts pressed against the side of the carcass, causing circumferential mechanical abrasions.

9. Hard pattern
Features: The tread pattern of the tire is punctured by sharp objects, and a belt layer can be seen at the damaged area.
Cause: Driving on a bad road, the tread is cut by a bad weapon, or the crown rubber is scratched, causing the groove to crack or the crown rubber to fall off.

10. Piercing Blasting
Features: "Zipper"-shaped blasting on the sidewall, with obvious thorns and scratches on the blasting or corresponding crown.
Cause: The tire sidewall or corresponding crown was punctured, causing the steel cord of the carcass to break, the strength decreased, and the blast occurred.

11. Pierce
Features: Puncture of the crown, partial rupture of the cord in the tire and separation from the carcass.
Cause: When driving, the road surface weapon pierced the carcass, causing local steel wire breakage.

12. The carcass cord is broken
Features: The carcass cord in the tire is broken throughout the week.
Cause: Tires are crushed and fractured due to insufficient air pressure.

Introduction of Compactor Garbage Truck

The   compactor garbage truck   is composed of a sealed garbage hopper, a hydraulic system and an operating system. The whole truck is a fully sealed type, and the sewage in the process of self-compression, self-dumping and compression all enters the sewage tank, which completely solves the problem of secondary pollution in the process of garbage transportation. It has the advantages of good performance, convenient operation and safety. Optional rear hanging bucket overturning mechanism or garbage bucket overturning mechanism. The outstanding features of the compactor garbage truck and other garbage trucks: 1. The garbage collection method is simple: change the dirty old appearance of garbage cans on the streets of the city, and prevent secondary pollution. 2. High compression ratio and large loading capacity: the maximum crushing pressure is 12 tons, and the loading capacity is equivalent to two and a half times that of the same ton of uncompressed waste. 3. Operation ...

How to Prevent Hydraulic Oil From Emulsifying On Concrete Mixer Truck?

The main cause of hydraulic oil emulsification on concrete mixer truck s is water in the hydraulic system, which is mixed with water after a long time. The removed hydraulic oil will form an emulsification of the hydraulic oil. We found that water enters the hydraulic system due to the following reasons: a. Working in a humid environment, the moisture in the air condenses due to the alternation of cold and heat, turning into water droplets and falling into the oil; b. The rainwater on the fuel tank seeps into the fuel tank due to the weak sealing of welding and connection parts; c.  Due to the damage of the pumping cylinder seal and the damage of the mixing motor, moisture is brought into the oil; d. Daily maintenance, cleaning, oil change, and maintenance process bring in moisture. To prevent the oil from emulsifying, we must first prevent moisture from entering the hydraulic system. When the car leaves the factory, the welding and connection parts must be manufactured in accord...

Installation Guide of Turbo Charger

Please install your turbochargers according to our following installation guide in order to avoid some unnecessary damages. *Pre-Installation 1. Change new recommended quality oil & air filters. 2. Change recommended engine oil. 3. Pre-oil the turbo oil inlet. 4. Change new oil inlet pipes or flush the oil inlet pipes to remove flakes or carbon deposits. 5. Ensure oil supply of at least 0.5kgf/m2 or 7 psi within 3 seconds 1st engine start (if possible, use oil gauge to measure). 6. Mount turbine inlet to engine manifold 7. Attach oil inlet pipe to turbo and crank the engine a few times until oil flows out of the turbo oil drain. Then attach the oil drain pipe. 8. Connect remaining air piping hose. 9. Ensure that all bolts, screws & nuts are tightened. 10. Allow engine to idle for 5 minutes before operating at higher rpm. 11. Check for unusual noises and leaks 12. Do not operate the turbo if you suspect any problems. Consult us immediately. ...
