The Difference of EGR, Unit Pump And High Pressure Common Rail Of Euro3 Engine

At present, there are three main types of engines that can meet the Euro III emission standards on the market. One is electronically controlled engine, one is electronically controlled unit pump engine, and the other is electronically controlled high-pressure common rail engine. In order for everyone to be able to understand the technical structure and performance of these three engines, the advantages and disadvantages of the three engines are summarized here for reference only.

EGR technical characteristics:

Its fuel injection system is similar in structure to the Euro Ⅱ mechanical injection pump. The fault diagnosis system has complete functions, easy operation, greatly reduced operating costs, and good fuel adaptability. At present, it can be applied to general-purpose diesel in the country, which is suitable for national conditions. EGR engine repair and maintenance are convenient, reduce the waiting time for repairs, and lower repair costs.

Disadvantages: the emission standard is difficult to guarantee after long-term use.

Recommendations: EGR engine technology is very mature in China, but it is not possible to go through household registration procedures in municipalities, large cities, and some provincial capitals that require higher exhaust emission standards. There is no need to worry about small and medium-sized cities, towns and rural areas. Small and medium-sized enterprises and individuals who meet the above-mentioned areas where households are available and have low budgets for car purchases are recommended to buy.

Technical characteristics of electronically controlled unit pump:

The electronically controlled unit pump system is currently widely used in Europe. The electronically controlled unit pump technology plus mechanical injectors can meet the Euro III emission standards; it can be easily upgraded from Euro III to Euro Ⅳ without large-scale modifications to the engine structure.Its fuel injection rule is firstly slow and then urgent, which meets the requirements of ideal heat release rule, which is conducive to reducing emissions and combustion noise; it has strong fuel supply capacity and can be independently controlled for each cylinder, especially suitable for heavy-duty diesel engines with high power; zero system The components are more mature than the common rail system and have a longer service life; low maintenance costs: single-cylinder parts can be replaced, and the cost of mechanical injectors is lower than that of electronically controlled injectors.

Disadvantages: The technology is becoming more mature, but the market penetration rate is not as good as EGR.

Recommendation: Cities with higher engine emission standards and users who are concerned about the need to upgrade subsequent policy adjustments may consider buying.

Features of electronically controlled high-pressure common rail technology:

The electronic control common rail technology has a simple structure and is easy to install. The common rail oil pressure is independent of the engine speed control, and the vehicle control function is strong, adapting to the requirements of light vehicles; its pre-injection technology can reduce idling noise; the common rail system is flexible, but it will inevitably bring the difficulty of matching work; The potential of Euro IV emission regulations;

Disadvantages: For light vehicles, system components are mature and have long-term use assessment verification; medium-sized vehicles are relatively mature; but the service life of heavy-duty diesel engines has not been verified. Doesn’t comply with the law of slowing down before burning required by diesel engine combustion, which is not conducive to emission control; it has disadvantages compared with unit pumps in terms of fuel consumption; poor adaptability to fuel (water and ash impurities) and high requirements for users’ use conditions, especially The control system and control strategy are complex, which poses challenges to vehicle manufacturers, users, and after-sales maintenance; the replacement cost of parts is high, especially for electronically controlled fuel injectors and electronically controlled fuel injection pumps.

Introduction of Compactor Garbage Truck

  The   compactor garbage truck   is composed of a sealed garbage hopper, a hydraulic system and an operating system. The whole truck is a fully sealed type, and the sewage in the process of self-compression, self-dumping and compression all enters the sewage tank, which completely solves the problem of secondary pollution in the process of garbage transportation. It has the advantages of good performance, convenient operation and safety. Optional rear hanging bucket overturning mechanism or garbage bucket overturning mechanism. The outstanding features of the compactor garbage truck and other garbage trucks: 1. The garbage collection method is simple: change the dirty old appearance of garbage cans on the streets of the city, and prevent secondary pollution. 2. High compression ratio and large loading capacity: the maximum crushing pressure is 12 tons, and the loading capacity is equivalent to two and a half times that of the same ton of uncompressed waste. 3. Operation ...

How to Prevent Hydraulic Oil From Emulsifying On Concrete Mixer Truck?

The main cause of hydraulic oil emulsification on concrete mixer truck s is water in the hydraulic system, which is mixed with water after a long time. The removed hydraulic oil will form an emulsification of the hydraulic oil. We found that water enters the hydraulic system due to the following reasons: a. Working in a humid environment, the moisture in the air condenses due to the alternation of cold and heat, turning into water droplets and falling into the oil; b. The rainwater on the fuel tank seeps into the fuel tank due to the weak sealing of welding and connection parts; c.  Due to the damage of the pumping cylinder seal and the damage of the mixing motor, moisture is brought into the oil; d. Daily maintenance, cleaning, oil change, and maintenance process bring in moisture. To prevent the oil from emulsifying, we must first prevent moisture from entering the hydraulic system. When the car leaves the factory, the welding and connection parts must be manufactured in accord...

Installation Guide of Turbo Charger

Please install your turbochargers according to our following installation guide in order to avoid some unnecessary damages. *Pre-Installation 1. Change new recommended quality oil & air filters. 2. Change recommended engine oil. 3. Pre-oil the turbo oil inlet. 4. Change new oil inlet pipes or flush the oil inlet pipes to remove flakes or carbon deposits. 5. Ensure oil supply of at least 0.5kgf/m2 or 7 psi within 3 seconds 1st engine start (if possible, use oil gauge to measure). 6. Mount turbine inlet to engine manifold 7. Attach oil inlet pipe to turbo and crank the engine a few times until oil flows out of the turbo oil drain. Then attach the oil drain pipe. 8. Connect remaining air piping hose. 9. Ensure that all bolts, screws & nuts are tightened. 10. Allow engine to idle for 5 minutes before operating at higher rpm. 11. Check for unusual noises and leaks 12. Do not operate the turbo if you suspect any problems. Consult us immediately. ...
