Refrigerated Truck Maintenance

 

As a special transport vehicle, refrigerated box trucks must check the precautions before driving to prevent unnecessary troubles during driving. It is recommended to carry out the following inspections before each loading and driving:

1. The fuel supply of the refrigerated truck must be sufficient to keep the engine running at least until the next checkpoint.

2. The engine oil level of the refrigerated truck is supplied at the full mark, do not overfill (replace once a year).

3. Refrigerated truck coolant, check the coolant level gauge to see if the coolant volume is correct, and the pointer should be within the white range. If the coolant level is within the red range, add coolant to the coolant tank. Usually the coolant is a mixture of ethylene glycol and water (different ratios are used according to the actual situation of the product), and it should provide protection from freezing at -34°C. Note: Do not open the lid of the coolant tank when the coolant is hot.

4. The battery terminal of the refrigerated truck must be firm and free of corrosion. Electrolyte should be at the full mark.

5. The belt must be in good condition and adjusted to proper tension. Sag in the center of the span between the pulleys.

6. Electrical inspection, all electrical connectors in the electrical control circuit, make sure they are firmly fixed. Wires and terminals should be free from corrosion, burning and cracking.

7. Structure Visually inspect the unit for leaks, loose or broken parts and other damage.

8. The installation gasket of the gasket unit should be firmly pressed and in good condition.

9. The refrigerated truck coil condenser and evaporator coil should be clean and free of foreign matter.

10. Defrost Drain Check the defrost drain hose and fittings to make sure they are clear.

11. When the cargo compartment is loaded, the goods cannot block the air outlet and return air outlet of the evaporator, and keep the cold air circulation in the cargo compartment unimpeded to ensure that there will be no hot spots in the compartment. https://www.clvehicles.com/
